The Death of a young girl in Texas County has rumors circulating that she died of an unknown strain of influenza. County officials say her death was not caused by the flu. They say the 10 year old Summersville girl was suffering from a medical issue. The coroner says while her death had some relation to the typical flu virus, her death was not caused by the virus. Health officials want citizens to know two things, one is that there are no new strains of the flu going around and number two it’s not too late to get your flu shot.
