
Tuesday was Election Day in Arkansas and in the Presidential Primary it was President Donald Trump winning the Republican Nomination with 97 percent of the vote. In the Democratic Primary, Joe Biden won with 45 percent, Bernie Sanders got 25 percent, Mike Bloomberg 16 percent and Elizabeth Warren with 11 percent. In Local Elections, in the race for Circuit Court Judge District 3 Division 3, it was Adam Weeks winning with 5,115 votes, Hollie Wilson had 2,707, Joe Grider 2,526 and Timothy Watson with 800.
In Mountain Home voters approved Sunday Alcohol sales with 1,376 voting yes and 1,191 voting no.
In Viola for School Board the winner was Charlie Wray with 279 votes, Chris Waltrip 147 votes and Monica Winstead 76 votes.
