Authorities in Independence County are looking for an inmate who walked away from a work detail. 29 year old Mathew Thomas was last seen Wednesday morning around 8 at the Valero Gas Station in Pleasant Plains. Anyone with any information as to his whereabouts should contact the Sheriff’s Department in Independence County.
