The Thayer Fire Department was called to a fire Thursday on Carpenter road. According to Fire Chief Mark Arnold, someone was burning leaves when it spread to two outbuildings and completely destroyed them then also burned a car. Arnold wanted to thank the Mammoth Spring Fire Department for assisting in fighting the fire and he ask that residents not do any outside burning until we get some more rain.
