Last year residents in Koshkonong launched a campaign through social media to get Dollar General to build a store in Koshkonong. In October the company announced they would build a store in Koshkonong and now that store is open. A special grand opening is planned for this Saturday at 8 am. Koshkonong Mayor George Hunt plans to proclaim the day the city’s official “Dollar General Day”
The grand opening festivities will include free prizes and special deals with the first 50 adult shoppers receiving a $10 gift card and the first 200 shoppers receiving a Dollar General tote bag.
