
| The Izard County Sheriff’s Department reports several arrests last weekend.
On Saturday March 7, Colter Vanhorn, age 28 of Batesville, was arrested by Deputy D.J. Tiernan on a warrant for failure to pay fines. Vanhorn was given an OR bond with a court date of April 9 in the Izard County District Court. On Saturday March 7, Melissa Boyce, age 43 of Locust Grove, was arrested by Deputy Nick Taylor for possession of a controlled substance. Boyce’s bond was set at $1,250 professional with a court date of April 7 in the Izard County District Court. On Saturday March 7, Eric Jackson, age 46 of Melbourne, was arrested by Sgt. Mike Smith for DWI 2, leaving the scene of an accident, and disorderly conduct. Jackson was given an OR bond with a court date of April 9 in the Izard County District Court. On Sunday March 8, Mellisa Traversie, age 38 of Melbourne, was arrested by Deputy Sean Tomlinson on a warrant for failure to appear. Traversie’s bond was set at $740 cash with a court date of March 19 in the Izard County District Court. On Monday March 9, Roy Sanders, age 44 of Pineville, was arrested by Deputy Toby Smith for possession of a controlled substance. Sanders was given an OR bond with a court date of April 23 in the Izard County District Court. On Monday March 9, Roger Slaughter, age 45 of Batesville, was arrested by Deputy Brent Engles for possession of drug paraphernalia. Slaughter’s bond was set at $1,120 professional with a court date of April 9 in the Izard County District Court. On Monday March 9, Amanda Sanders, age 42 of Gepp, was arrested by Deputy Brent Engles for possession of a controlled substance. Sanders was given an OR bond with a court date of April 9 in the Izard County District Court.
