KLOVE Offers Listeners Some Comfort Over Coronavirus Concerns

pray-2

One of Our Sister Stations KLOVE Shared a letter from their CEO, to a lady addressing concerns over coronavirus and prayer, We hope this might bring some comfort to those with concerns.

Dear Rebecca,

Like you, I have concerns about COVID-19 (the Coronavirus). But as I listen to the news, I find comfort in knowing that regardless of what’s going on in the world around us, God remains in control.  During times like these, staying connected to God can help us have calm hearts and peaceful minds.

Your friends at K-LOVE are here to come alongside you through this season.  We hope that the songs we play and the stories we share remind you that you are loved and you’re not left to navigate your way through this on your own.

Our pastors and care team are available to talk and pray with you, and provide inspiration through scripture and devotions.

Reading the Bible can also be a great source of strength and support as God’s Word tells us:
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. — Isaiah 41:10 (NLT)

We put our hope in the LORD. He is our help and our shield. — Psalm 33:20 (NLT)

The LORD is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. —  Nahum 1:7 (NLT)

We have several resources available to help you stay positive and focused on Jesus.

Resources:

If you’re unable to attend church in person, we encourage you to see if your local church offers an online or social media stream. If they are not equipped to do so, you may wish to view messages from other churches in your area, or online sermons from churches across the country.

We hope these tools help you stay connected to Jesus during this time and that you feel equipped to help support yourself and others in need of hope and encouragement.

Blessings,

Bill Reeves
