Nominations for the Highland high school Rebel Athletic Hal of Fame are now being accepted for consideration by the board and selection committee. Former players, coaches, administrators and supporters may be nominated in a written narrative of 300 words or less. Requirements include but are exclusive to the following, outstanding accomplishments in one or more sports with two or more years participation at HHS, recognized good citizenship and sportsmanship at school and in the community and willingness to attend the induction ceremony. Recognition will be September 4th with a reception prior to the first home football game and presentations at Halftime.
Last year’s inductees were, Karen Tucker Floyd, Jay Hansen, Ronnie Brogden and John Katrosh.
