A man from Birch Tree was injured in an accident west of Birch Tree. The Highway patrol says that 32 year old Kelly Pederson suffered moderate injuries when he drove off the road and overturned the truck he was driving, hitting several trees. Pederson was taken to Mercy Hospital in Mountain View. The accident happened on old highway 60 about one mile west of Birch Tree.
