Missouri health officials said Thursday the state experienced another significant jump in confirmed coronavirus cases, with 502, up from 356 on Wednesday. Eight people have died from the virus.
Locally, there have been confirmed cases in Carter, Texas and Wright Counties. The one from Carter County was treated briefly at Mercy St Francis Hospital in Mountain View (Howell County), then transferred to Springfield. The One in Texas County does not live in the state.
In Arkansas on Thursday there were 349 confirmed cases with three deaths, Locally, there was a case confirmed in Randolph County Thursday and there are two cases in Independence county along with one each in Lawrence and Stone Counties.
