The National Weather Service now says that it was a EF 3 Tornado that hit Jonesboro Saturday afternoon. Authorities are now reporting 22 people were injured and two had to be taken to the Hospital. There were no Fatalities.

Strong storm moved across northern Arkansas this after and ECNN is getting reports that a Tornado touched down in Jonesboro. At this time we have no reports on any injuries but several buildings were damaged. On Caraway road we get reports that damage was done to Doty Realty, Magic Touch, Gateway Tire and Ultra Grocery. We are also hearing there was damge at the Turtle Creek Mall and at Kirkland’s Best Buy as well as at the Wildwood Subdivision. Emergency crews on on the scene accessing the damage.
