Two Alton residents were injured in an accident west of Alton Friday evening. The Missouri State highway patrol reports that 17 year old Sierra Hernandez and 17 year old Kayla Parson both suffered minor injuries when a 15 year old boy rounded a curve too fast and lost control of the vehicle he was driving, causing it to skid off the road and hit a fence. Both girls were taken to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains. The Juvenile was not injured. The accident happened on highway P about a mile west of Alton.
