A West Plains man was arrested after a high-speed chase. 50-year old Brian Keith Smith was arrested a chase by police on county roads at speeds up to 70 mph. Smith allegedly stopped the truck and attempted to flee on foot but after a short chase Smith fell to the ground and surrendered. Smith faces charges of first-degree drug traffick0ing and resisting arrest. He was released on $20,000 bail.
