The state has recalled about 48,000 masks it distributed to first responders because they were found to be faulty in testing, Sandy Karston, the director of the Missouri Department of Public Safety said the recall comes at a time that getting personal protective devices to police and firefighters is a priority.
Governor Mike Parson says that he is glad the errors were found quickly.
