A woman from Plato was injured in a two vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in Texas County. The highway Patrol says that 53 year old Juanita Mendoza suffered moderate injuries when a truck driven by 48 year old Elbert Butler failed to stop at a stop sign and hit the car that Mendoza was driving. Mendoza was taken to the Hospital in Fort Leonard Wood. The accident happened on Rt AW at Evening Shade Missouri.
