The number of COVID 19 cases in the United States is now at 706,779 with 37,079 deaths. In Missouri there are 5,283 cases with 165 deaths and in Arkansas there are 1,695 cases with 37 deaths. Locally in Missouri there have been 3 cases confirmed in Carter County, 5 in Howell County, 1 in Oregon County, 3 in Ripley County and 9 in Wright County. In Arkansas there are 4 in Baxter County, 7 in Independence County, 2 in Izard County, 1 in Marion County, 10 in Randolph County, 2 in Sharp County, 7 in Stone County and the Arkansas Department of Health is reporting on their website that there are now 24 cases in Lawrence County but there is some controversy in that number after a Nursing Home in Walnut Ridge reported that they have 28 residents and 5 workers that have tested positive for the Coronavirus. So the number in Lawrence county which doubled since Thursday could be even higher.
