Several Missouri counties are reporting that the Emerald Ash Borer is back. So far 78 counties have reported them, including Howell, Oregon, Ozark, Ripley Carter and Shannon Counties locally. The Emerald Ash Borer kills Ash Trees. When they the trees are infected they die typically within two years. Last year there were 53 counties that reported the beetle.
