Wednesday afternoon there were a reported 842,624 confirmed COVID 19 cases in the United States with 46,785 deaths reported and 76,614 recoveries. In Missouri there were 6,137 cases with 208 deaths and in Arkansas there were 2,392 cases with 44 deaths. Locally there have been confirmed cases in Carter, Howell, Oregon, Ripley and Wright Counties in Missouri and in Baxter, Independence, Izard, Lawrence, Marion, Randolph, Sharp and Stone Counties in Arkansas. One of the hot spots locally has been the Walnut Ridge Nursing and rehab where they have reported 27 positive cases in the facility with 4 presumptive cases meaning they tested positive but are waiting confirmation from the CDC and ADH. There was 1 death at the facility.
