A man from Raymondville has been arrested on felony charges after fighting with a deputy who was trying to arrest him. 43 year old David Griggs is charged with felony third degree assault special victim, felony escape or attempted escape from custody while under arrest for a felony, and misdemeanor violation of an order of protection. Griggs has a history of violating the order. His bond was set at $250,000.
