
Fulton County is one of nine in Arkansas that will be receiving new voting equipment for the November 3rd general election. The Secretary of State’s Office has decided to use state and federal funds to pay for the equipment. The secretary of state’s office said in a release that due to the COVID 19 pandemic they have had to reassess their plan in working with the counties for new election equipment. In March President Trump signed the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security Act into law. The Law includes $400 million in new Help America Vote Act emergency funds made available to states to prevent, prepare for and respond to the coronavirus for the 2020 election cycle.
