MLB Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony Has Been Canceled

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is canceling its annual Hall of Fame Induction Weekend due to health and safety concerns amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Board of Directors voted unanimously to cancel the 2020 events and reschedule for July 25, 2021. The Class of 2020 includes Derek Jeter, Marvin Miller, Ted Simmons and Larry Walker. These honorees will be inducted next year along with any new members elected as part of the Hall of Fame Class of 2021. The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum has been closed to the public since March.

The Hall of Fame has held an Induction Ceremony in Cooperstown every year since 1961.
