According to the CDC, the number of COVID 19 cases in the United States is now more than 1.2 million with over 71,000 deaths and more than 189,000 recoveries.
In Missouri there are 8,916 confirmed cases with 347 deaths. And in Arkansas 3,525 with 83 deaths.
Locally, Sharp county has its first COVID 19 related fatality and there were two new cases confirmed in Fulton County, bringing their total to 3. There was also a new case in Izard County. No details on the new cases have been released. In Missouri now there are 3 in Carter County, 5 in Howell County, 2 in Oregon County, 5 in Ripley County and 10 in Wright County. In Arkansas there are 5 in Baxter County, 3 in Fulton County, 11 in Independence County, 10 in Izard County, 67 in Lawrence County, 1 in Marion County, 19 in Randolph County, 7 in Sharp County and 8 in Stone County.
