Two Local Judges Are Resigning

A Fulton County Judge is reportedly going to step down. Judge Jim Bicker was appointed to the position in January when former Judge Jim Kendrick was convicted of felony theft of property. According to reports posted in the Spring River Chronicle Bicker will step down at the end of June. They say Bicker is leaving for personal reasons, They say the Fulton County Quorum Court may appoint Gary Clayton to the Position.

 

A Randolph County judge has resigned after he was investigated by the Arkansas Judicial Displine and Disability Commission. Judge John Throesch voluntarily resigned after the commission found that he violated the state’s code of judicial conduct involving criminal cases. Throesch has served as district judge since 2001.
