
A woman from Melbourne has been arrested after a traffic stop on highway 56 near Myron. The Izard County Sheriff’s Office reports that 29 year old Stephanie William was arrested after she allegedly almost hit a deputies vehicle head-on. K9, Hugo alerted deputies to the car she was driving where they found drug paraphernalia, meth and some pills. William is charged with two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of felony possession of drug paraphernalia. She also faces misdemeanor charges of two counts of possession of a controlled substance, DWI, driving left of center and obstructed windshield. She will be in court June 17th.
