There was another big jump in the number of COVID 19 positive cases in Sharp County on Thursday. Officials with the Arkansas Department of Health are now reporting 39 cases in Sharp County with all of them from the Ash Flat Healthcare and Rehab where 30 residents and 9 staff members have tested positive, they also report two COVID 19 related deaths at the facility.
The ADH reported Thursday afternoon that there have now been 4,306 cases in Arkansas with 98 deaths. In Missouri The Department Health And Senior Services reports there have been 10,317 COVID 19 cases with 562 deaths.
Locally there have been 6 cases in Baxter County, 3 in Fulton County, 22 in Independence County, 13 in Izard County, 72 in Lawrence County, 1 in Marion County, 22 in Randolph County, 39 in Sharp County and 8 in Stone County in Arkansas and in Missouri there have been 3 in Carter County, 5 in Howell County, 2 in Oregon County, 6 in Ripley County and 10 in Wright County.
The CDC reported Thursday that there are now 1,417,889 cases in the United States with 85,906 deaths and 246,414 recoveries.
