A man from Ava was injured in a motorcycle accident Saturday evening in Douglas County. The Highway Patrol reports that 26 year old Colin Lane drove off the road and overturned the motorcycle. Lane suffered serious injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on County Road A-409 about 2 miles south of Smallett.
