Authorities in Shannon County say that is appears that the fatal shooting Saturday near Birch Tree was justifiable homicide. Around 8pm Saturday night deputies were called to a residence on county road 464 northwest of Birch Tree. The deceased man allegedly showed up at the home and started firing shots with a shotgun at the home. The homeowner fired back killing the shooter. An autopsy is planned this week. No names have been released.
