A man from Doniphan was arrested by the Highway Patrol Monday afternoon. 54 year old Richard Hoye was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance meth, felony driving while revoked, failure to register a motor vehicle, displaying the plates of another, no insurance, failure to affix plates, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Butler County jail and placed on a 24 hour hold.
