A man from Alton was arrested Friday by Alton Police. 38 year old Matthew Young is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of Marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid, misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and driving while revoked/suspended. He is being held in Thayer jail without bond.
