
Tomorrow is election day in Missouri and over the past week we have been telling you about some of the contested races locally and some of the issued on the ballot. One big issue that will be decided tomorrow is in Mountain View where voters will vote on a $6 million bond issue to pay for work on the city’s sewer and water systems. A simple majority vote will give city council the go ahead to apply for sewer system grants. A town hall meeting was held last week where citizens voiced concerns about higher rates. The City says that rates will be determined after they get a funding package from Rural development, Rural Development will determine rates. Polls open at 6am tomorrow morning.
