A man from Calico Rock has been arrested after an incident Sunday. 20 year old Jesse Sanders was arrested after the vehicle he was in was stopped for reckless driving. Police say Sanders exited the vehicle, when he was approached by a deputy, Sanders allegedly jerked away and pulled a pistol from his pants and threw it. Sanders was charged with DWI, minor in possession of alcohol, driving on a suspended license, careless driving, no seat belt, resisting arrest and fleeing. Sanders is under supervision of the Arkansas Community Corrections for previous felony convictions. Sanders is awaiting charges of felon in possession of a firearm.
