Howell County Health Department has announced that they have received notification that 2 more county residents have now been confirmed positive for COVID-19. Of the cases reported one was a Mountain View resident and one a West Plains resident.
A disease investigation and follow up has been conducted on each of the new cases. Close contacts to the cases have been notified. Neither of the individuals has required hospital care and each are isolating at home and following public health guidance.
With the inclusion of the 2 new cases, Howell County has now had a total of 9 COVID-19 cases to date.
One new case was also reported in Douglas County, bringing the total to 2 in the county and one new case was reported in Ripley County bringing their total to 8.
In Arkansas one new case was reported in Izard County bring their total to 17 and one new case in Lawrence County bringing their total to 85.
All the other counties in the listening area stayed the same.
Missouri reported 13,575 cases with 753 deaths. Arkansas reported 7,818 cases with 136 deaths.
