Two people were injured in a one vehicle accident Wednesday morning in Wright County. The Highway Patrol reports that a 7 year old girl and 29 year old Sandra Elliot were both injured when Elliot drove off the road and hit a tree. The juvenile suffered serious injuries, while Elliot suffered moderate injuries. Both were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened Missouri highway 5 about two miles north of Grovesprings.
