Three people were injured in an accident east of Cabool Saturday afternoon. According to the report from the Highway patrol, 57 year old Melody Copeland of Paducah Kentucky suffered serious injuries, 57 year old James Copeland of Paducah and 70 year old Gary Kreiger of Eminence both suffered minor injuries when Kreiger attempted to turn into a private drive and was struck in the rear by the vehicle that the Copeland were in. The Copelands were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield and Kreiger was taken to OMC in West Plains. The accident happened on U.S. 60 about a mile east of Cabool.
