A 3-year-old hockey fan awaiting a kidney transplant will have his wish granted to play hockey with Ryan O’Reilly next season.
O’Reilly, along with FOX Sports Midwest analyst Darren Pang and representatives from Make-A-Wish, delivered the news via a video conference this week.
Hank was born with a serious kidney disease and requires dialysis at least four times per week. Despite those challenges, Hank cheers on the Blues with every game and is even learning to ice skate.
“This journey has been long and exhausting for our family,” said Hank’s monther, Leticia. “This wish means the world for my son, to be able to let loose and feel special for even just one day.”
