The Mammoth Spring Chamber of Commerce has launched a social media campaign to bring a Dollar General to Mammoth Spring. The post, which launched on June 2nd, has gone viral, reaching nearly 20,000 people already.
At the center of the post is a marketing video that highlights the towns beauty and unique location. There is no denying that Mammoth Spring is one of the most stunning cities in the region. But with a winding river, giant spring, state park, renowned restaurants, quaint downtown, historic buildings, train depot and tons of southern charm, it also attracts thousands of visitors every year.
Based on information from the Arkansas Highway Department, an average of 9,000 people through Mammoth Spring every day. And based on information from Mammoth Spring State Park, over 300,000 people a year visit the park alone. The Spring River is also a very popular river for floating and fishing and attracts visitors from all over the United States
