With the COVID 19 pandemic the Missouri Department of Transportation has seen a drop in revenue since people are not traveling as much as they normally would. I talked to MODOT Director Patrick McKenna
I asked Mr. McKenna what MODOT is doing to make up the shortfall in revenue
He said they also cut advertising
One of the largest expenditures is payroll and he talked about what they are doing to lower payrool
He said they hope to cut between 17 and 20 million dollars from the Payroll.
