Oregon County Health Department reports our 4th confirmed case of COVID 19 in Oregon county, a 66 year old male is quarantined at home. This case is a household contact to a previous case. Health Department staff are working in coordination with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) to determine any close contacts of that individual who are were possibly exposed.
Friday afternoon the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services announced there have been 15,585 COVID 19 cases in Missouri with 872 deaths, Locally there have been 5 cases in Carter County, 3 in Douglas County, 19 in Howell County, 4 in Oregon County, 12 in Ripley County, 6 in Shannon County, 1 in Texas County, and 14 in Wright County.
The Arkansas Department of Health reported 11,547 cases with 176 deaths, this is the largest one day increase in cases to date in Arkansas. Locally there were 14 in Baxter County, 9 in Fulton County, 39 in Independence County, 17 in Izard County, 90 in Lawrence County, 28 in Randolph County, 51 in Sharp County and 11 in Stone County.
