
Friday Howell County Health Department received notification that the 20th Howell County resident has tested positive for COVID-19. The newly identified patient resides in the West Plains area. They are isolating at home and following public health guidance. The case has been linked to known identified cases in the county. Contact tracing has been completed and community exposure has been ruled out.
Sunday the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported 15,983 COVID 19 cases in Missouri with 879 deaths. Locally there have been 5 cases in Carter County, 3 in Douglas County, 20 in Howell County, 4 in Oregon County, 11 in Ripley County, 6 in Shannon County, 1 in Texas County and 14 in Wright County.
The Arkansas department of Health reported 12,501 with 179 deaths. Locally there have been 14 cases in Baxter County, 9 in Fulton County, 42 in Independence County, 20 in Izard County, 91 in Lawrence County, 28 in Randolph County, 50 in Sharp County and 11 in Stone County.
