
Howell County Health Department reports that they have received notification of an additional six county residents that have now tested positive for COVID-19. All six of the cases have been linked to those previously identified within the county. Each of the newly identified cases are on isolation, following public health guidance. Three of the cases reside in the West Plains area. Two of the cases live in the Peace Valley area and one in the Koshkonong vicinity. Employers and close contacts to each case have been notified. Community exposures to the new cases include:
- Friday, June 5th, 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Hibby’s West
Plains
- Saturday, June 6th, 8:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. The Ranch
House West Plains
- Saturday, June 6th, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Legit
Speedway West Plains
- Monday, June 8th, 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Hirsch’s West
Plains
People visiting these locations during the dates and times identified are at LOW risk for contracting COVID-19, but should monitor themselves for symptoms. Anyone who develops symptoms of COVID-19 should contact their health care provider regarding testing and take all necessary precautions to avoid exposing others.
Monday afternoon, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported 16,189 COVID 19 cases in Missouri with 880 deaths. Locally all the Counties numbers staye the same except for Howell County which now reports 26.
The Arkansas department of Health reported 12,917 cases with 182 deaths. Locally the counties numbers all stayed the same as Sunday.
