A Birch Tree man was arrested following a high speed chase that ended when he crashed he hit another vehicle. 28 year old Jason Freeman was arrested on three counts of first degree assault or attempt, and armed criminal action. One count each of resisting arrest by fleeing and leaving the scene of an accident that caused physical injury. The chase allegedly reached speeds of about 100 mph before Freeman hit an SUV.
