A man from Winona was injured in an accident Tuesday evening in Shannon County. The Highway Patrol reports that 21 year old Austin Womack suffered minor injuries when he drove off the road and hit a tree. He was taken to Mercy Hospital in Mountain View. Womack was also charged with DWI, Careless and Imprudent driving and possession of an open title. The accident happened on old route 60 about two miles east of Mountain View.
