Criminal Charges will not be filed against former Fulton County Chief Deputy John Cawvey Jr. The prosecuting attorney said in a letter that he was convinced the charge of theft of property could not be proven. Cawvey resigned on March 17th and then filed an employee grievance hearing request with the quorum court. Cawvey then later rescinded the request.
