A man from Cabool faces multiple charges after leading police on a chase last Sunday around Licking. 21 year old Jacob Ahu was arrested and has been charged with driving while intoxicated, second degree assault on a law enforcement officer, third degree assault of a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest by fleeing, careless and imprudent driving, failure to obey traffic device, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, failure to use a turn signal and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway. A Licking police officer suffered lacerations to his hand and leg while attempting to arrest AHU.
