A man from West Plains was injured in a one vehicle accident early Friday morning south of West Plains. The Highway Patrol reports that 36 year old Ryan Hammock suffered serious injuries when he drove off the road and overturned the pickup he was driving. The accident happened around 2 Friday morning, but Hammock’s pickup was down a steep embankment and was not visible until daylight. He was flown to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened on U.S 63 about 4 miles south of West Plains.
