Two people suffered serious injuries in an accident Sunday morning in Douglas County. 20 year old Corine Reed of Norwood and 17 year old Alyssa Fitzsimmons of Ava both were injured when Reed drove off the road and overturned the SUV she was driving. The accident happened on Missouri 14, five miles east of Ava. Both the injured were taken to Cox South in Springfield.
