The Independence County Sheriff’s Department reports the arrest of two men after a high speed chase on highway 69. 46 year old Jesse Leon Davis and 27 year old Daniel Aaron Sanders were both arrested when the chase ended with Davis driving off the road, through a fence and hitting a tree. A search of the vehicle uncovered meth and a small bottle of pills. Both men are charged with a variety of charges including possession of meth and possession of illegal pills. Davis was also arrested on an absconder warrant.
