Daily COVID 19 Update For Arkansas & Missouri

The Howell County Health Department has announced that four additional COVID-19 cases have been identified in Howell County. Cases 40 and 41 in the county are household contacts residing in Mountain View. Both had been previously identified as close contacts to a known case. As a result they have been on home isolation, so exposures to the community are not a concern.

Cases 42 and 43 in Howell County reside in West Plains. Both cases were known contacts to previously identified cases of COVID-19 and have been on home isolation. For this reason community exposure is not indicated.

One new case was reported Wednesday in Douglas County, 3 new cases were reported in Fulton County, 3 new cases were reported in Izard County, 1 new case in Lawrence County, and 2 new cases in Randolph County.

The Missouri department of Health and senior Services reported 21,927 COVID 19 cases in Missouri with 1,017 deaths.

The Arkansas Department of Health reported 21,197 COVID 19 Cases in Arkansas with 277 deaths.

Locally. Carter County had 6 cases , Douglas County had 5, Howell County had 43, Oregon County had 7, Ozark County had 2, Ripley County had 19, Shannon County had 8, Texas County had 5 and Wright County had 15.

Baxter County had 20 cases, Fulton County 15, Independence County had 55, Izard County had 23, Lawrence County had 100, Marion County had 6, Randolph County had 50, Sharp County had 53 and Stone County had 14.
