Three Moody residents were injured in a three vehicle accident west of West Plains Tuesday morning. The Highway Patrol reports that a 6 year old boy suffered moderate injuries and a 2 year old girl and 29 year old Cory Purgason both suffered minor injuries when the vehicle that Purgason was driving hit a SUV driven by 59 year old Raymond Bowers of West Plains then hit an oncoming tractor trailer. Bowers and the driver of the tractor trailer were not injured. The 6 year old boy was taken to Cox South In Springfield. The 2 year old girl and Purgason were both taken to OMC in West Plains. The accident happened on highway 160 about a mile west of West Plains.
