Two Ava residents were killed in a one vehicle accident Monday afternoon north of Ava. The highway patrol reports that
25 year old Owen Dobbs and 34 year old Rebecca Brandon were both killed when Dobbs tried to pass two vehicles and drove off
the road and hit a tree. The accident happened on highway 5, five miles north of Ava.
